Should I choose emoji in my settings?

    Emoji

In your settings, you can choose whether or not to add emoji to your folder structure and JDex file downloads.

Emoji can help your brain anchor to the concepts. We like them and find them useful. But they can cause problems.

In the past, Dropbox wouldn't synchronise folders containing emoji. And previous versions of Windows had problems with the ZIP file. But these issues are resolved in the latest versions.

Alternatively, you might just not like emoji. Or maybe you don't want to use them if you're at work. Just turn them off.

If you do use them, feel free to change them to suit your life (or small business). We don't know what you, your family, or pets look like!

    Header squares

In your settings, you can also choose whether or not to add black header squares (■) to your folder structure and JDex file downloads.

These squares highlight the header IDs in each system. We do recommend keeping these. They help provide an extra layer of structure.
