Definition

The free documentation published at www.johnnydecimal.com/documentation forms the Johnny.Decimal system.

Products purchased at www.johnnydecimal.com are separate and do not form part of the system.

Use of the Johnny.Decimal System

You are hereby granted a permanent and irrevocable right to use the Johnny.Decimal system to organise your files and information for any purpose, personal or commercial. No restrictions apply.

Note the optional commercial licence, below.

Reuse or redistribution of the Johnny.Decimal System

For reuse, redistribution, or similar, the Johnny.Decimal system is licenced under Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International.

You are free to:

• Share - copy and redistribute the documentation material on this website in any medium or format.

• Adapt - remix, transform, and build upon the material.

Under the following terms:

• Attribution - You must give appropriate credit, provide a link to the licence, and indicate if changes were made. You may do so in any reasonable manner, but not in any way that suggests the licensor endorses you or your use.

• NonCommercial - You may not use the material for commercial purposes.

• ShareAlike - If you remix, transform, or build upon the material, you must distribute your contributions under the same licence as the original.

• No additional restrictions - You may not apply legal terms or technological measures that legally restrict others from doing anything the licence permits.

Use of purchased content

A single-user licence is granted to the individual who holds an account on www.johnnydecimal.com. This grants access to the pre-built systems, downloads, and course material.

The content may be used by the purchaser as many times as required for any purpose, personal or commercial. No restrictions apply.

The purchased content and downloads are not for use by any other individual or entity. If you know someone who would like this, please ask them to make their own purchase.

If you need multiple user accounts

If you require multiple user accounts, e.g. for the Small Business System, please get in touch to discuss purchasing additional licences at a discount.

Thank you for doing the right thing

It took Johnny and Lucy thousands of hours to create the pre-built systems, course materials, support articles, documentation, and website.

It took Johnny more than a decade to build this system and acquire this knowledge.

Johnny quit his job to be able to do this. This is our family's only income. Please do the right thing. Thank you.

Commercial licence

The Johnny.Decimal system is free for everyone, including commercial use. However, companies are encouraged to obtain a commercial licence to support ongoing development and ensure continued availability and development of the system.

Three tiers are available. They are based on the total number of employees at your organisation. For larger organisations please ensure that your organisation has not already purchased a licence. Payments are final.

All prices are in USD. This is an annual subscription that you may cancel at any time using the link in your payment receipt.

• 10-100 employees: $1,000/year
• 100-1000 employees: $5,000/year
• 1000+ employees: $10,000/year

Licence holders receive an official certificate confirming authorised commercial use, and:

• $1,000/year: one (1) JDHQ account.
• $5,000/year: five (5) JDHQ accounts.
• $10,000/year: ten (10) JDHQ accounts.

Each account has access to the Life Admin System, Small Business System, and Johnny.Decimal University.
