# Feature: open your JDex entry by ID, not exact title

> You can now 'Open in Bear/Obsidian' from the site by matching only the ID, not the full title. This will suit those of you who have tweaked the titles, e.g. to another language.

If you own the LAS or SBS, this site has a link to open the current entry in your local JDex.

Previously, this opened the exact title of the ID. So if you change that title in any way, the link will fail.

[On the forum](https://forum.johnnydecimal.com/t/rfc-search-instead-of-opening-bear-notes-from-documentation/2993), Robert asked if this can be changed to a search instead, matching the ID only. This will help those of you who have changed your titles, e.g. by localising them.

This feature is now live. Find it at your [Life Admin](https://johnnydecimal.com/las#settings) and [Small Business](https://johnnydecimal.com/sbs#settings) settings.

This works with Bear and Obsidian.
